We have beaches galore to send you home golden and glowing, but here’s a few ideas if you’re looking for some fun activities outside the sand.

O’o Farms hosts a heavenly farm-to-table tour.  Harvest your own produce from their organic garden and their executive chef will prepare seasonal gourmet dishes like freshly caught fish with Kaffir Lime, sizzling lemongrass oil and O’o Farm vegetables.  Bring a bottle of wine to complete your breathtaking meal.

The Aromatherapy Foundation of Maui offers a very unique opportunity to capture and take home the island’s peaceful essence.  Walking through the private hillside of Maui’s most aromatic region, you’ll pick sweet-smelling plants to take back to the distillery to create your very own take-home stress reducing and hydrating facial and body mist hydrosol.

Not everyone wants a soothing retreat for their bachelorette party.  If you’re looking for a trip that has more wild than mild, then this is your guide to adventure!

 

1.  The Hotel:  

-The Four Seasons Hotel is home to the adult-only Serenity Pool, which services almost every poolside dream!  With their underwater music system and freestanding swim up bars, you will have no need to leave this utopia!  If the heat is more than you’d like, stake your claim on a luxury cabana and enjoy the Evian spritzers and mini fridge stocked with champagne.  The rooms are equally stunning, but you probably won’t be spending too much time in their oversized marble bathroom and open-air lanai.

-The Makena Resort has the pool, the ocean front location and an epic breakfast brunch.  But what makes this location prime is that it saddles up to one of the island’s most interesting parties.  Little Beach is known for it’s Sunday night drum circles, and it’s not your average affair.  This clothing optional dance-a-thon hosts hula hoop dancers, flame-throwers and an enormous circle of bongo and conga players each matching the others beat.  The party starts in the late afternoon, and closes up shop between 7 and 7:45 pm.  Make sure to stick around for sunset, when the crowd goes crazy, applauding and whooping the departing glow of the day.  And the hotel shuttle will take you and pick you up, so you don’t need to worry about the parking lot mayhem that follows this popular party.

2.  The Restaurants

You’re on this trip to be entertained, and these fabulous locations will do just that!

Fleetwood’s Restaurant is a restaurant with goodness on every level.  If the weather permits, their rooftop lounge is the only one in Lahaina and has stunning views of both the Pacific Ocean as well as the breathtaking West Maui Mountains.  If you’re wanting to keep your party exclusive, reserve a cabana.  All the view while keeping your party to yourselves.  And if VIP is the name of your game, then request the Zebra room, which comfortably fits 10 guests into its luxurious setting and comes with its own dedicated tiered butler service.  Live music is nightly, so you get sensational food and a show!

Old Lahaina Luau is all about presenting authentic Hawaiian evening, from its hula dancers to its luau feast.  While you enjoy unlimited drinks and food, relax under the tiki torches and prepare to be wowed with the song and dance.  Fire dancers make the night more festive as the sun sets over the bobbing sailboats in the distance.

 

Flatbread Company is a heavenly slice of paradise after a day of champagne.  These wood-fire pizzas are mouth-watering, from their Mopsy’s Kalua Pork pizza with homemade organic mango BBQ sauce and local goat cheese, to their Pele Pesto pizza with a house made macadamia nut pesto that is simply delectable.  And you’ll be within walking distance to Charley’s, one of the few bars on the North Shore that stay open past 10 pm on the weekends!

3.  The Fun
