Unsurprisingly, Maui is a pretty great place to shop, so long as you’re not stocking up on winter gear.
Below I’ve listed two recent additions to the Maui shopping scene, so go check them out during your next trip to paradise, and shop local!
To & From Boutique – Waikapu
Located next to Waikapu on 30, home of delicious, no-fuss plate lunches and local food items, To & From Boutique might just be my new favorite place to shop on Maui. Set in the front room of a charming, scenic, and cozy full service Salon & Spa, To & From offers an assortment of breezy island wear, jewelry, and handmade cold process soaps for extremely affordable prices.
Owner Barbara Kikuchi, along with the help of her traveling daughter, hand-pick every item in the store, drawing from a mixture of worldly clothing providers and local Maui artisans.
The service from these two ladies is extremely friendly, helpful and personable, and you can really tell that they enjoy offering clothing at an affordable price on an island where far too many businesses are concerned with making as large a profit as possible.
Go for the service, stay for the shopping (and prices).
All Good Things Maui – Mobile Boutique
You may have seen food trucks, but you haven’t seen a mobile boutique like this before. At least not on Maui.
Enter All Good Things Maui, the most stylish truck-turned-shop you’ve ever seen, founded by Renee Bietler. Brand new to Maui, keep an eye out for this truck at the Maui Coconut Station and other areas around Maui.
Selling a mixture of Balinese and Maui-made products, including jewelry, swimwear from locally-owned Salt on the Rocks and Hideaway Swim, Zenziva bath scrubs, hats, backpacks, keiki wear and more, the truck even features a changing room and artwork.
Go for the cuteness, stay for the selection.
