The Art of Aloha: Lahaina Galleries at The Shops at Wailea hosts Maui’s 24th annual Art of Aloha. Free and open to the public, this signature exhibition is the largest art presentation on Maui, bringing together visitors and the local community for an afternoon of discovery and connection. Guests are invited to meet 10 internationally acclaimed artists and view new works created exclusively for the event, spanning painting, sculpture and mixed media. Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea: With 24 years of experience, the all-female Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea are a two-time Grammy-winning ensemble known for high-energy performances. They’re bringing their award-winning mariachi music to the Maui Arts and Cultural Center–don’t miss it! 7:30 pm.

Foghat: Foghat’s boogie-driven rock spans generations, with classics like “Slow Ride,” featured everywhere from Dazed & Confused to Top Gun: Maverick. Since forming in 1971, the band has earned multiple Gold and Platinum records and continues to deliver high-energy performances that keep rock ’n’ roll alive. This special show will have a dance floor in the Castle Theater! Maui Arts and Cultural Center, 7:30 pm.

HeartFest Maui: Celebrate heart health at Maui’s biggest wellness fair where we combine family fun, fitness, and free health resources for all! Enjoy keiki activities, live entertainment, local vendors, and much more! Maui YMCA, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Saturdays at the Refuge: Visit Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge for a guided “walk and talk” with refuge staff, keiki activities, and more! Held every first Saturday at the refuge. 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Groundation: Experience the powerful sound of one of the most visionary reggae bands at da Playground Maui. Enjoy a soul-stirring night of reggae music as Groundation pays tribute to Bob Marley with an uplifting night of music, dance, and positive vibrations. da Playground, 8:00 pm.
February 11
9th Annual World Whale Film Festival: The Annual World Whale Film Festival returns to Wailuku at the historic ʻĪao Theater, providing the community with a classic theater setting and an elevated film-viewing experience. Showcasing powerful short films on ocean conservation, marine wildlife, Indigenous wisdom, climate change, and stewardship, the festival offers an evening meant to spark change and celebrate our ocean planet. Iao Theater, purchase tickets in advance!

High Watah: High Watah is one of Hawaiʻi’s most respected reggae bands, known for their conscious lyrics, tight musicianship, and unmistakable island sound. Blending roots reggae with modern island vibes, their music speaks on love, life, and unity—perfect energy for a night all about connection. Don’t miss them at da Playground! 8:00 pm.

Swingposium Maui: This one-of-a-kind experience honors the resilience and struggles of Japanese Americans forcibly removed to WWII Internment Camps and uplifts joy in the face of injustice by transporting audiences to a swing dance at “camp” during WWII filled with live bands, taiko, and a story of a young Japanese American’s romance with swing. Hannibal Tavares Community Center, Pukalani, 6:30 pm.
World Whale Day Parade: The World Whale Day Parade is the capstone celebration of the week, filling South Kihei Road with color, music, and community pride. This vibrant, family-friendly event brings together thousands of residents and visitors to honor the whales and celebrate ocean conservation. Floats, performers, and cultural displays create a joyful procession that showcases the heart of Maui’s community spirit. Free to attend with RSVP suggested—just show up and join the fun along the parade route! South Kihei Road, 9:00 am – 11:00 am.

Noche Nortena – Groupo Excludo: Grupo Excluido is a Mexican regional music group composed of four passionate musicians with a powerful and modern sound blending traditional instruments such as accordion, bajo quinto, tuba, and drums. Their music reflects both cultural roots and contemporary influences, creating an energetic and authentic regional Mexican style. da Playground, 10:00 pm.

Ke Kani Hone o Wailea – The Sweet Music of Wailea: Catch Grammy-nominated Hawaiian artist Amy Hanaialii at the Shops of Wailea for a free concert! Hanaialii boasts 18 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards, plus classical training fused with powerhouse vocals. Shops at Wailea, 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm.

Tower of Power: For 58 years, Tower of Power has defined funk and soul with their signature “Oakland soul” sound, delivering hits like “You’re Still a Young Man,” “So Very Hard to Go,” and “What Is Hip?” With decades of global touring, the band continues to bring high-energy performances to fans around the world. Maui Pops Orchestra – Rodgers and Hammerstein: Broadway stars Alli Mauzey and William Michals join the Maui Pops Orchestra to celebrate the timeless songs of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, who created some of the world’s most successful musicals, such as The Sound of Music. This enchanting performance transports audiences to the golden age of Broadway and classic Hollywood. Maui Arts and Cultural Center, 3:00 pm.

Black Uhuru: Get ready for an unforgettable night as legendary Black Uhuru takes the stage live! With Special guests 3 Pounds Of Kalo. Solo Sessions: John Craigie: For over a decade, John Craigie has built a devoted following with sincere, conversational songs and relentless touring across the U.S., Europe, and Australia. His new album I Swam Here, out February 6, 2026, blends New Orleans grit with Pacific Northwest calm. Don’t miss this intimate solo session at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center! 7:30 pm.

Lei Po’o Making: The Shops of Wailea invites guests to learn how to weave ti leaf leis using ferns and flowers. Lei Po’o can be worn on the head and was typically used as a gift on special occasions by Ali’i (Hawaiian Royalty). This event is open to both keiki and adults and runs from 2:30 to 3:30 pm.
Tuesdays
Tuesday Trivia at Mahalo Aleworks: Head to Upcountry’s only brewery to test your trivia skills. Be sure to make it by 5:45 pm to register, trivia kicks off at 6 pm. Teams can be no larger than four. The winning team is awarded a $50 brewery gift card!
Polynesian Show at The Shops: This weekly show will highlight Hawaiian hula as well as other dances of Polynesia. The performance will take place at the Shops of Wailea from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
Coconut Husking at The Shops: From 2:30 to 3:30 pm weekly, the Shops of Wailea will be hosting demonstrations of the traditional and modern methods in husking a coconut. Learn how the Hawaiians would use every part of the coconut from food to crafting eating utensils, jewelry as well as furniture.

Wednesdays

Slack Key Guitar Show: The Masters of Hawaiian Music Slack Key Show is open for live shows once again. The Slack Key Show ohana will perform each week at 6:30 pm at the Napili Kai Beach Resort. Tickets are required for entry, this show is also streamed online.
Thursdays
Polynesian Show at the Shops: This weekly show will highlight Hawaiian hula as well as other dances of Polynesia. The performance will take place at the Shops of Wailea from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
Coconut Frond Weaving at the Shops: The Shops of Wailea invites guests to try their hand at the highly developed Hawaiian skill of weaving. Coconut frond weaving was used to make baskets, mats, and even toys. This event runs weekly from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Fridays
Papa Hula at the Shops: Hosted at the Shops of Wailea, Papa Hula is a celebration of the Hawaiian way of life. Enjoy a complimentary dance lesson, complete with costumes and accessories, and the dance movements and their meanings. This interactive performance runs from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Saturdays
Upcountry Farmers Market: Shop some of the best local souvenirs on the island, indulge in delicious food and support local farmers at one of Maui’s biggest weekly events. Don’t forget to set your morning alarm, as this market favors the early shopper. The Upcountry Farmers Market runs from 7:00 to 11:00 am every Saturday at the Kulamalu Town Center in Pukalani.

Sundays
Maui Gift and Craft Fair: Stop by the Lahaina Gateway Center and browse West Maui’s largest gift and craft fair. This weekly event hosts over 50 vendors, showcasing jewelry, photography, art, crafts, keiki activities, and more. Maui Gift and Craft Fair runs from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm every Sunday.
Maui Sunday Market: Featuring some of Maui’s most renowned food trucks, local vendors, and quality entertainment, the Maui Sunday Market is one of the island’s most popular weekly events. Centrally located at the Kahului Shopping Center, the Maui Sunday Market draws locals and visitors from all corners of the island. The event runs every Sunday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
