WorthShop #3 Event Review

Ho'olei PropertiesUPDATE: This was a worthshop event in 2013.  The last one was in December of 2018.  So much fun!

On December 12th and 13th, Hawaii Life hosted their third annual WorthShop event, designed for those working or simply interested in learning more about the affluent real estate market on Maui. We were lucky enough to attend the event, accompanied by some of Maui’s favorite social media users and bloggers like Erik Blair, Jill Mayo, Kelsey Love and Tania Ginoza, some of whom previously accompanied us on a trip to Hana a few months ago. Natalie Brown was also there shooting photos of the properties and attendees.

Ho’olei, Wailea

The evening began with a tour of the beautiful Ho’olei Properties, which sit across from the Grand Wailea Resort in South Maui and offer one of the best sunset views on the island. Hawaii Real Estate broker Dano Sayles did a fantastic job teaching us about the history of the property and explaining all the amazing amenities that come with being a resident there, including a wonderful pool, fitness center, and membership to the Grand Wailea’s spa, restaurants, golf, tennis clubs and more.

Four Seasons Wailea

Four SeasonsWe were then shuttled to the stunning Four Seasons Resort, where the WorthShop was being held, for a delicious cocktail at one of their onsite restaurants, Ferraro’s. This resort never ceases to amaze us.  Everything is top-notch. And what a great view!

Hale Lani Cocktail Party

Afterwards, we were taken to the VIP after-party for WorthShop attendees, located at the Hale Lani on Kaimanu Place in Maui Meadows. If you’re looking for gorgeous scenery, top-notch design and real estate gold, this is it. Lucas Woodford, the listing agent for this property, gave us a nice welcome and tour of the place, which features an impressive 7 bedrooms, 6.5 baths and a perfectly landscaped backyard complete with a pool and hot tub. The property also has a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath ohana, which is beautiful in itself.  Wow!

Kaimanu PropertyOnce on the property, we were treated to delicious pupus, a dessert table (!!!) and complimentary cocktails, and got the chance to meet some of the guest speakers in town for the WorthShop. Conveniently located between Kihei and Wailea, Maui Meadows offers the kind of privacy you’d hope for in a multi million dollar household. We even got some great shots of the property from above!   Now is a great time to dive into the Maui real estate market.

  • Love all the pics in the video of the after party and I would’ve loved to have attended some of the WorthShop during the day as well (what a lineup of speakers!). Hale Lani is truly beautiful. Many don’t realize how close the higher elevation of Maui Meadows is to upcountry (a good thing!) yet also a hop away from the ocean and everything the Wailea area has to offer. I had a great time.

    • Thanks Tania! Yes, Maui Meadows is our favorite spot in south Maui to live. The cooler weather, the great views, amazing community, and custom homes make it unique to that part of the island. Mahalo for joining us!
