A hidden gem in Maui, we love the Greek Bistro. We've heard from others that it's hit or miss, but every time we go we HIT!
THE RESTAURANT
Located behind Fred's Mexican Restaurant, the Greek Bistro is almost always overlooked. The location is tucked away and so most tourists don't know about it. If you want a romantic meal away from the masses, go here. It's also perfect for larger parties and families.
THE FOOD
The food is wonderful and pretty authentic. There aren't many Greek places in Maui; the other Greek place in Kihei (Pita Paradise) is owned by the same family. They serve some great food too, in a more casual environment. Greek Bistro is casual too, but the ambiance is more cozy and Greek looking.
As you can see in the photo to the right, there are a lot of cats around. Because of the open floor plan of the restaurant, feral kitties come in as they please. You'll likely see one or two sitting in pots.
We're not sure how much longer the Greek Bistro will be around due to the slow traffic and hidden location. Please support this restaurant by checking it out on your next visit to Kihei.
