Booker T. Jones– There is no better way to start November then with the award-winning sounds of Booker T. Jones, who is one of America’s favorite R&B, soul, and pop multi-instrumentalist!

Wailuku First Friday– Live music, ono grinds, shopping and family fun entertainment on Wailuku’s historic Market Street!

November 7

2nd Annual Made in Maui County Festival– The Made in Maui County Festival is the largest products show in Maui County, featuring over 140 vendors offering a wide variety of made-in-Hawaii products, including food, produce, art, crafts, jewelry, fashion, gifts, collectibles, and more

Margaret Cho: The Psycho Tour– Comedian Margaret Cho has always been the Agent Provocateur of stand up. Never one to shy away from a difficult, or even ‘taboo’ topic, there is no subject off-limits.

November 8

Heritage Film Festival: The Hawaiian Room– The Hawaii-based nonprofit, Hula Preservation Society, has spent over three years documenting the stories of the young dancers and singers in this film by Ann Marie Kirk. Hear from the entertainers, dancers, and patrons who made it such a special place, and be transported to a time in history when hula, Hawaiian music, and aloha enchanted New York!

AARP Hawaii Movies for Grownups: “The Theory of Everything”– This is the extraordinary story of one of the world’s greatest living minds, the renowned astrophysicist, Stephen Hawking, who falls deeply in love with fellow Cambridge student, Jane Wilde

Maui Aloha Classic Dinner & Awards– Trade Winds Events presents the Maui Aloha Classic event with dinner, trophies, prizes and music! The Maui Aloha Classic features windsurfers from Maui as well as the American Windsurfing Tour (AWT) and the Professional Windsurfers Association (PWA).

‘Empowered Moms, Healthy Kids’: An Evening with Zen Honeycutt– SHAKA Movement’s “Your Right to Health” series presents an evening with Zen Honeycutt, founder of Moms Across America, an organization that promotes testing people and water for glyphosate contamination.

November 13

Lahaina Second Friday– Live music, ono grinds, shopping and family fun entertainment on Lahaina’s famous Front Street!

Hula O Na Keiki– Hula O Na Keiki, a children’s solo hula competition, is held on the grounds of Kaanapali Beach Hotel. Children from ages 5 years old to 17 years old will steal your heart and shutter your camera as you watch them compete in their categories for the coveted awards and titles.

5th Annual Hawaii Farmers Union United (HFUU) Convention– Join the Farmers Union for a very informative weekend!  The keynote address will be presented by Hawaii State Senator Mike Gabbard (Chair of the Water, Land, and Agriculture Committee) and his daughter, US Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard who represents Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District.

It’s “Swingin’ Tiki Time” with Eric Gilliom at Sugar Beach Events!– Inspired by the golden age of Hawaiian pop culture, Swingin’ Tiki Time welcomes you to a world of tropical drinks, décor, and the best music of the islands. Top Hawaii entertainer Eric Gilliom and his all-star band want to take you on an exotic journey through Hawaii’s colorful musical playlist.

Observe and Play Family Day– This family program offers a guided walk-through of the exhibition and an opportunity to meet lau hala artisans and watch a demonstration of their weaving techniques.

Four Seasons Day of Hope Maui– Four Seasons Maui hosts the 26th annual Day of Hope Maui on November 14th, 2015. Run, walk, enjoy an oceanfront auction and breakfast to support the fight against cancer. Proceeds go directly to the Pacific Cancer Foundation.

9th Annual Hui No`eau Wailea Food & Wine Celebration– Sip, taste and mingle amongst some of Maui’s top chefs and vintners. Held in Hotel Wailea’s elegant Anuhea Room overlooking the koi pond and beautiful hotel grounds, the evening includes generous tastes and samples, plus an exciting array of silent auction items.

Parenting with Love and Leadership: From Tots to Teens– America’s leading parenting expert, John Rosemond, will help parents understand how to best deliver the two essential parenting ingredients of love and leadership, from toddlerhood right on through the teenage years, so they can strengthen their children emotionally and help them grow into responsible, compassionate citizens.

Skyline Eco-Adventures Zip 4 The Trees– The 5th annual event is in support of Maui Children’s charities along with the native reforestation on Skyline’s Haleakala, Maui zipline course.  Participants will enjoy live music by famed Hawaiian musician Paula Fuga along with the Hawaiian Ukulele Rock Band, Kenekoa.  The day’s events will include prizes, and giveaways, horseback rides, food for purchase, and more.

Dahlak Brathwaite: “Spiritrials”– “Spiritrials,” written and performed by Dahlak Brathwaite, chronicles the journey of Dahlak’s own criminalization along with his struggle to be vindicated and decriminalized in the eyes of the law and society.

November 20

Makawao Third Friday– Live music, ono grinds, shopping and family fun entertainment on Makawao’s Baldwin Avenue!

November 21

Mai Poina: The Trial of a Queen– The play explores unresolved sovereignty issues triggered by the U.S. overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy. Discussion to follow.

November 24

Na Mele O Maui-  Established in 1972 for the youth of Maui County, Nā Mele O Maui—Maui’s only county-wide Hawaiian song and art competition—is dedicated to cultural preservation and perpetuation of Hawaiian mele, language, and arts.

November 25

Charlie Musselwhite and his band– Lazar Bear Productions is proud to present legendary heavyweight blues harpist, Charlie Musselwhite & his band, for a three-island tour in Hawaii. Charlie Musselwhite has been inducted into the Blues Music Hall of Fame, received 35 Blues music awards and 11 Grammy nominations, with a win in 2014.

Kihei Fourth Friday– Live music, ono grinds, shopping and family fun entertainment at Kihei’s Azeka Shopping Center!

An Evening of Spirit with James Van Praagh– Join renowned medium and spiritual teacher, James Van Praagh, for an unforgettable Evening of Spirit! James will be a conduit—channeling messages, guidance, and encouragement from loved ones in the spirit world.

Pint Night for the Birds– Since September 2009, the Maui Brewing Company has been hosting benefit nights for the Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project.  On benefit nights, half the pub profits from house beers sold will go towards protecting native birds.

Maui Choral Arts: “Christmas Bells”– Maui Choral Arts Association is back for their exciting annual holiday concert, “Christmas Bells.” Join artistic director, Gary Shin-Leavitt and pianist Lotus Dancer, with special guest Leighanna Locke, along with the exceptional chorus!

Rob Schneider: Live on Maui–  Legendary comedian Rob Schneider will perform a full stand up concert at The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa on Saturday, November 28th, 2015 at 8:00 PM. Special guest, crooner Brian Evans.
