The Melting Pot located in Lahaina Gateway Shopping Center offers something Maui has been needing: Hours upon hours of different fondue courses.
THE FOOD
Though The Melting Pot is very expensive, the different options for fondue are incredible. You can either do a cheese fondue, entree fondue, or desert fondue. If you have the time and really want to do it right, they offer a full menu option where you can have all of these fondues as different courses along with a fresh salad.
Cheese Fondue
There are a variety of different Cheese Fondues available from a Wisconsin Trio to their popular Cheddar Cheese Fondue. Personally, we prefer the traditional Swiss Fondue with Gruyere and Emmenthaler, Garlic and White Wine. You'll be given fresh chopped fruit, vegetables and mixed breads to dip.
Entree Fondue
If you'd rather enjoy an entree other than cheese, try your choice of sizzling Bourguignonne, Court Bouillon, Coq au Vin or Caribbean-Style Mojo. For dipping, you'll be given unlimited vegetables and your choice of meats. They have Lobster, Filet Mignon, Jumbo Shrimp, Chicken, Teriyaki Sirloin, Stuffed Pasta and more. They also give you dipping sauces as well as seasoning salts. This is a lot of fun for those that like their steak and other meats cooked at a specific temperature. You have full control of how well you cook your entree.
Chocolate Fondue
Choose between Dark, Milk, or White Chocolate with any of many different options to add: such as amaretto, crushed Oreo, chambord, caramel, and more. You'll be given a big plate of tasty treats to dip. Some of these things are cheesecake, strawberries, marshmellows, brownies, pineapple and sponge cake.

Iam sorry but not impressed by the cold fondues coming to the table and cheap food...marshmellows and rice crispy treats which tasted Costco better replaced by fruit..we aren't teenagers...the small shrimp you can hardley see as well as three bites of chicken...and Whatever they call steak? I will say the Decor was LOVELY as were the friends I was with..the food just didn't match the prices...sorry..no vote here..:-(
