MAUI RAPPELLING INFORMATION

Where and what will we be rappelling down?

The tour begins halfway along the famous Road to Hana on a 30-acre botanical garden. After a short hike under a rainforest canopy, you’ll first practice basic skills by rappelling down a 60-foot jungle cliff, followed by a 50-foot waterfall and 30-foot waterfall, where you’re welcome to enjoy a refreshing swim when you reach the bottom! Alternately, on days with heavy rainfall, you’ll rappel down 100-foot jungle walls to the edge of the stream.

What is included in the tour?

All tours include professional-grade equipment, including a canyoneering backpack, footwear, helmet, locking carabiners, harness, safety lanyard, and rappelling device. Transportation to and from the rappelling site is also included, as well as lunch, bottled water, and guides with professional canyoneering experience. The tour typically lasts around 6 and 6 1/2 hours.

Rappelling on Maui is an amazing experience, and we especially enjoy the excitement that comes along with successfully rappelling down your first jungle wall or waterfall!

CAUTION: Hiking and rappelling are very fun but carry some risk for those without experience, which is why always recommend rappelling with trained professionals who are familiar with the terrain and weather conditions.
