If you’re fortunate enough to be on Maui during the holiday season, New Year’s Eve is a fun night to go out, watch beautiful firework displays and ring in the new year with someone special. Some of our favorite events for 2014 include:
Pacific Whale Foundation NYE Cocktail Cruise
This starlight cruise is an annual event and a great way to see the fireworks from the water. Tickets include three complimentary cocktails (for guests 21+), midnight champagne toast and pupus. Alii Nui Maui NYE Dinner Sail
This luxury sailing catamaran departs from Ma’alaea Harbor and sails to the shores of South Maui for the midnight firework displays in Wailea. This is an Adults Only event. Pride of Maui NYE Cruise
As of right now, this cocktail and dinner cruise is sold out, but call to see if there’s a waiting list! Tickets include live music, open bar, champagne toast and delicious dinner options. Departs from Ma’alaea Harbor. Visit their website or call directly at (877) 867-7433. (Adults – $139.95)
Sheraton Maui NYE Dinner
You know what goes great with champagne? FOOD. Head over to West Maui’s Sheraton Resort for a special New Year’s Eve Dinner from 5:30 to 9:00pm. Ritz Carlton Kapalua NYE Dinner
If you’re looking for family fun on Maui, head to the Ritz for a few different New Year’s Eve event options, including an Interactive Dinner Party (including tapas-style buffet, Hawaiian music, hula, party favors; Adults – $125, Teens (13-17) – $62.50, Children (12 and under) – Free) on the Terrace from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, New Year’s Eve Dinner (including four course menu, limited a la carte menu, live entertainment, party favors; $130 per person) at the Banyan Tree from 5:30pm to 10:00pm, Alaloa Lounge New Year’s Eve Celebration (including Hawaiian music, hula dancers and live band) from 4:00pm to 2:00am, or New Year’s Countdown Celebration for Children (including dinner buffet, guided night hike, dancing, games, movies, face painting, snacks, sparkling cider and dessert; Children 5 years and older – $150) at the Ambassadors Keiki Room.
