Every Saturday Evening (July 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th):

Maui Chef’s Table – Come experience the “Maui Chef’s Table” culinary adventure on the grounds of Maui Tropical Plantation! Enjoy 7 courses of unique, farm-fresh cuisine and craft cocktails, all prepared in a gorgeous island setting. Please check their calendar for dates and tickets.

Every Third Tuesday (July 19th):

Brushstrokes & Brews – On the third Tuesday of each month, Island Art Party brings its awesome art parties to The Maui Brewing Co. in Kihei. Come paint a beautiful painting and enjoy happy hour pricing in the tasting room all night! Only $59 (kama’aina discount available with ID) and it sells out quick, so book early!

Wailuku First Friday: Live music, ono grinds, shopping and family fun entertainment on Wailuku’s historic Market Street.

July 2nd

Family Class at Island Art Party: Celebrate 4th of July weekend with a family class at Kihei’s Island Art Party. Ages 8 and up are welcome to join in a painting of the original ‘Maui Sunset’. Kama’aina discount available with a local ID.

Makawao Parade: Come see the 51st Annual Makawao Parade on Baldwin Avenue! The theme for this year’s 9am parade is “Honoring our Heritage”, and will feature a stick horse race at 8:30am, Hawaiian Pa`u Riders, music, floats and more. Great family fun event!

Lana’i Pineapple Festival: Head to Maui’s neighbor island of Lana’i for the annual Pineapple Festival at Dole Park! There will be many crafts, games, food booths, activities, prizes, exhibitors and entertainment. Festivities will end at 9pm with a fabulous fireworks display. For those coming from Maui, there will be a special 9:30pm Expeditions Ferry back to Lahaina from Manele Harbor.

Lahaina Jodo Mission Obon Festival: Head to the west side to see a special Obon service at 6:30pm, followed by a dance performance at 8pm.

Happy July 4th! Remember to help keep Maui clean by picking up all of your trash. Mahalo!

Let’s Red, White & Pie Together: Kahului’s Queen Ka’ahumanu Center hosts this family-friendly 4th of July event, which includes a sidewalk sale and pie contest. Pies will be judged by our own Maui celebrities, including Eric Faivre, Vice President of Food & Beverage for Aston-Aqua Hotels & Resorts, Debbie Chuckas, General Manager of Macy’s, and Jeremiah “JJ” Valoroso, Maui’s 12 year old contestant of Food Network’s Junior Chopped competition.

Jazz Maui Concert in the Park: Enjoy a free concert on the lawn of the Lahaina Library. Music from the Maui Community Band, Chop Suey Jazz Band, Na Alii Big Band, Kukui Nuts barbershop quartet and special guest vocalist Sheryl Renee. Fireworks begin at 8pm.

Pride of Maui 4th of July Cruise: Get your tickets early to enjoy fireworks from the ocean! Cruise includes open bar, food, live music entertainment, and panoramic views of the firework show. Departs from Ma’alaea Harbor at 6:30pm.

Lahaina Second Friday: Live music, ono grinds, shopping and family-fun entertainment on Lahaina’s famous Front Street.

Paia Mantokuji Mission Obon Festival: Head to the north shore to see a special Obon service at 6pm, followed by a dance performance at 7:30pm.

July 9th

Sangria Saturday at Island Art Party: Have some fun with friends or family in Kihei and paint ‘Haleakala Sunrise’ while sipping on some sangria for only $5 per glass.

David Crosby: Legendary singer-songwriter and social justice activist, David Crosby, performs at the MACC’s Castle Theater.

July 15th

Makawao Third Friday: Live music, ono grinds, shopping and family-fun entertainment on Makawao’s Baldwin Avenue.

Kahului Hongwanji Mission Obon Festival: Head to central Maui to see a special Obon service at 6pm, followed by a dance performance at 7:30pm.

July 16th

Iao Valley 10K: Starts at the Wailuku Municipal Parking Lot off of Vineyard Street, then follows Vineyard Street up to Main Street and into scenic Iao Valley State Park. The run is a long rolling downhill back to Wailuku, and starts at 7:30am.

Hawaii Farmers Union United Community Potluck: Held at the Maui Tropical Plantation, guests are invited to bring a potluck dish that feeds 7-8 folks or purchase a meal. Featured Chef of the evening is Barry King of Oceanside Restaurant in Maalaea.

July 22nd

Kihei Fourth Friday: Live music, ono grinds, shopping and family-fun entertainment at Kihei’s Azeka Shopping Center.

Makawao Hongwanji Mission Obon Festival: Head Upcountry to see a special Obon service at 6pm, followed by a dance performance at 7:30pm.

July 23rd

Plantation Festival: Kahului’s Queen Ka’ahumanu Center hosts the annual Plantation Festival, celebrating Maui’s multicultural community. Event includes cultural booths with ethnic menus, festival fashion show, plantation history walk, keiki art contest, interactive plantation games and more.

July 28th

Hawaiian Music Series Concert: Held every last Thursday in Lahaina, you’re invited to relax under the trees of the Baldwin Home Museum lawn at the corner of Front and Dickenson Streets for a free Hawaiian music concert. Bring your own blanket or beach chair!

Joan Osborne: Singer, songwriter, multiplatinum-selling recording artist, and seven-time Grammy award nominee Joane Osborne performs at the MACC’s Castle Theater.

July 29th

MayJah RayJah Music Festival: Annual music festival featuring national recording artists J Boog, Iration, and international reggae superstar, Matisyahu. Also featured is reggae legend YellowMan, SpawnBreezie, Aotearoa’s Sons Of Zion, Eli-Mac, Hawaii favorites Rebel SoulJahz and more. Located at the MACC, doors open at 5pm.

Lana’i Fifth Friday: Hop a boat to the neighbor island of Lana’i to enjoy live music, ono grinds, shopping and family-fun entertainment in Lana’i City’s Dole Park.
